Current Kitten Diaries
31st January 2015
Things are a bit quieter now, as three of the kittens left us last weekend. Lottie & Lois are still available, and are managing to find some interesting things to keep them occupied. Today it has been snowing and they have been sitting on the window sill, transfixed by the snowflakes! Both are very affectionate and love being with humans. Lois' favourite game is climbing up your back and riding around on your shoulders! Here are the latest pictures:

Here are brothers Koko & Katoe, who will be going together to their new family very soon.
Daisy's Kittens are 4 weeks old now and Lily's kittens are 3 weeks old. Daisy's little Siamese girl has been adopted by Lily as Daisy did not have enough milk to feed all her babies. Lily has treated her as if she was one of her own. In fact this is not the first time Lily has been a foster mum. She really is a wonderful mother.
All the babies are now venturing out of their cosy nests, much to the dismay of their mothers. They are even trying a taste of mum's minced chicken dinner. Soon we will let them all meet each other, and then the fun really begins! Here are the latest pictures, click to enlarge:

Topaz kittens are now 7 weeks old and are now receiving visitors. A seal tabby point boy and a chocolate tabby point girl have been booked. The kittens enjoy having visitors, they are not at all nervous of strangers. Here are the latest pictures:
Dora's kittens are just four weeks old and have changed from helpless little babies into proper little cats. It's wonderful to watch them playing with each other and running away from mum when she tries to keep them under control. Dora has been a wonderful first-time mother, her babies are happy, content and very well fed! Here are the latest pictures, click to enlarge.
26th July 2014
Here are Topaz kittens, 4 weeks old now and running around, eating solids and nearly litter trained! We have 2 Seal Tabby Point Boys, and a Seal Tabby Point Girl, as well as a Black Oriental Girl and a Chocolate Spotted Tabby Boy.
29th June 2014
We still have 2 of Rubies kittens with us as Mischa, the Brown Spotted Tabby has gone to his new home. Lola is having to keep them under control as well as her own kittens, and this isn't always easy as they are all so full of energy and naughtiness. Her 6 kittens went to the vets last week for their first vaccinations and checks. Here are the latest pictures, click to enlarge and for descriptions.
26th May 2014
Rubys kittens are nearly 12 weeks old and will be having their second innoculations this week. Then they will be ready to go to their new homes. As the weather has been warm and sunny this weekend, they have been outside in the pen enjoying the fresh air. It's very entertaining watching them running and leaping in the air, trying to catch a leaf that is being blown about by the wind! Here they are, looking very grown-up.
Lola's babies are nearly 7 weeks old now and are all lovely playful little cats. They love to have a rough and tumble with the older kittens and they all sleep together in one big heap! Here are the latest pictures:
5th May 2014
Darcie's kittens are now 13 weeks old and they will all be off to their new homes this week. Ruby's kittens are 8 weeks old and they are just as noisy and boisterous as the older ones. Meal times are particularly noisy when they all demand food at the same time! A favourite game at the moment is football, with all the kittens thundering around and tackling each other for the ball. Here are the latest pictures, click to enlarge and to see who's who.
The 3 Spotted Tabbies are all still available, as are all of Lola's kittens.

Lola's babies are 18 days old today. This is a really lovely age as they have just started to come out of the basket and are becoming interested in things going on around them. Lola is a wonderful mother, she is very relaxed and doesn't get upset when her babies leave the "nest", as some mothers do. It is obvious now that the siamese boy is a Seal Tabby Point and he has been booked. The siamese girl is probably a Cinnamon Point, but his could change! Here are the latest pictures:

Lily's boys have now gone to their new homes. Here they are before they left:
Darcie's kittens are now 7 weeks old and have taken over from the older kittens, chasing around, climbing, play fighting and demanding food! Both of the Seal Points are booked and well as the Oriental Black boy. Here are the latest pictures. Click on them to enlarge and for descriptions.
Here are Ruby and her lovely babies who are now just 3 weeks old and tonight the little Brown Spotted Tabby boy climbed out of the basket and took his first steps in the outside world. The two cinnamons were far too busy play-fighting to notice.
10th March 2014
Lily's kittens are nearly 11 weeks old and will soon be going off to their new homes. We have been surprised that two have turned out to be a different colour than we first thought. What we thought was a chocolate point is in fact a chocolate tabby point and the blue point has turned out to be a chocolate point! Just goes to show that it can take quite a while for siamese kittens to show their true colours! Although you can always tell a seal point from an early age! Here are the latest pictures:

10th March 2014 - Darcie's kittens are nearly 5 weeks old. Sadly we lost one of the siamese girls.
The kittens now have the run of the kitchen and are having fun exploring. They are already using the litter tray and are eating James Wellbeloved Kitten Food and also chicken, which is their favourite. They have been introduced to the bigger kittens, but only under supervision at the moment as the older ones are so boisterous and look like giants compared with the little ones. They will be able to be viewed in a couple of weeks. Here are the latest pictures:

Lily's kittens are now seven weeks old and getting more boisterous by the day. They have been meeting lots of people and also Benson, the Labrador. They are now fully litter trained and will eat anything that is put in front of them! The leader of the gang is definately the Seal Point!
All these kittens are now booked.

Lily's kittens are now four weeks old and have suddenly turned into proper little cats. They are running around, getting into mischief and are already very good at climbing. Mum is trying her best to keep them under control! Still not certain if we have a Blue Point, but time will tell. Here are the latest pictures:
6th January 2014.
Lily's three little boys are just two weeks old and are already starting to notice each other and the world around them. They are beginning to gently pat each other and already enjoy having their tummies tickled. One is definately a seal point and the others are probably a chocolate point and a blue point, but a bit too early to tell yet.
The chocolate point is reserved.
Here are some pictures. As you can see, Lily is a very proud mum!
